Doseamento por espectrofotômetro UV de metilxantinas presentes em três marcas comerciais de ilex paraguariensis

Abstract

Aiming to dose methylxanthines found in three commercial brands of yerba mate (Ilex paraguariensis) by ultraviolet spectrophotometry, were selected through informal poll marks the highest consumption in the city of Três Forquilhas – RS and these were divided into group A, B and C and used a sample of dried extract of the plant. We performed the extraction procedure of methylxanthine and subsequently assayed using the apparatus of UV Spectrophotometer, using standard caffeine, at a wavelength of 273 nm. By the time the procedure for preparing the standard curve was not accurate, it will be repeated.
