The present work has as objective the study of the sludge of a ceramic tile pigment industry. The evaluated sludge is a industry waste; actually is located at sanitary landfill of the region; doing the company Torrecid do Brasil Ltda to waste time and money for the final destination of this by product. Finally, the study from
laboratory tests described at the text concluded that is possible to reuse de ceramic sludge rejected by the ceramic pigments industry, for example, transforming it in a ceramic glaze. Finally, we concluded that the collected sludge had a good characteristics as a by product.
